9-11
September 11th is always an emotinal day for me. Since my husband is a fireman I can't help but think about all these women who kissed their husband goodbye, as I did this morning, never to see them again. So many families lost loved ones that day. The only thing I know to do is thank God for every day with my friends and family.
I'm also emotional today because my Mom went back to Kentucky after being with her for 9 days. That is probably the longest we have had together since I moved here in 1989. I'm so thankful for the time we had together.
Kiss your family today, give them a hug, DON'T SWEAT THE SMALL STUFF, and have a good time! (I'm speaking to myself too.)

Thanks for the reminder! Hope you have a good day.
I'm sorry you miss your mom, but I'm so happy you got to spend 9 whole days with her. That's awesome! I'm glad you recognized 9/11. It's always a sad day for me too. We were on the way to the funeral home to bury my grandmother when the planes hit. Just a sad day all around!
I know I still can't see those planes without crying. I can't begin to imagine what those thousands of people affected that day went through. God bless you and your husband and all of those involved in the fire and rescue community.
